Why else do you think destruction is only available in multiplayer? It's not because of "the cloud", that's bullshit and has been for years.
It's because multiplayer takes place on a different map which is smaller in size and has less going on so it can be destructible.

The closest example I can think of would be Dead Rising 4s multiplayer.
