Well of course I'm getting 3. I mean humble has it for <$10 so yeah. Still interested in 4 tho, maybe not $60-80 interested, but interested nonetheless.

4 managed to fuck the core gameplay real hard which is something even 3, which most people don't like, didn't do.

Everything else just kinda feels like they were trying to go back to what made 1 so popular and not quite making it while introducing a bunch of crap no one wanted.

And they got rid of throwing things which is a humongous megacrime.

4 is fucking trash. If you watch the interviews with the devs, it's clear they had no fucking clue what people liked about DR1/2/3.

DR4 is pretty much what DmC was: Capcom letting a western developer have free reign on a project and getting shit in return.

I am really hoping that the lackluster sales of 4 coupled with the lukewarm response it got forced Capcom to either find a new studio or force DR5 to be closer to the older games.

They dropped lines from OTR in Frank's little dream sequence at the beginning of DR4. The devs don't know what's canon and what's not.

Nu-Frank mentions that he's covered 3 zombie outbreaks, which is just plain wrong. He also mentions that the government covered up any involvement in Willamette, not Santa Cabeza as the ending of DR1 says. Also Barrack Obama exists in the DR-verse now, and Dr. Barnaby was holding super-secret test to become an immortal smart-zombie.
