Yes, it is one of the representatives of the survival horror scene. Alongside Silent Hill, the first Dino Crisis, Resident Evil, Siren and Fatal Frame. Nothing else can even come close to these fine pieces and they alone were, are and will be survival horror. Everything else is a piece of shit. Play the first 2 as the 3rd one is either love it or hate it, plus exclusive to PSP. Have fun playing with Aya, top wife material right there.

The answer is yes. Early resident evil type look and feel, some legitimately creepy fmv, and a fun combat system make this a pretty good game. Why it died out, or why the main character wasn't in All stars Battle Royal, I will never know.

Really fun combat system and weapon customization options let you tinker and personalize your guns to a pretty great extent. The soundtrack, areas, and story are all great as well. PE1 is easily one of my favorite horror games, probably in my top ten games somewhere too

it's one of my favorites but I'm not sure if I like it because it's good or because of nostalgia. I liked the sequel too although it was like 4 hours long and borrowed too much shit from Resident Evil.

It's great. You'll have to emulate the first two games. They use tank controls, so think the original RE games. 2nd game gets a bit more RPG-y. 3rd Birthday is on PSP. It's not for everyone, apparently but I still liked it all the same.

Series is based off a Japanese novel, so look into that if you end up enjoying the games.
