It's bittersweet (whatever that may mean). 2bh I'm bummed out by the sad endings not because I was so attached to Chloe as a character but because of what Max (aka we as the players) experienced with her and for her. It's a special bond and it's the loss of that bond that makes the sacrifice ending so sad for me. Dontnod really made me care about Max and thinking about how she must feel after either solution is heartbreaking, even if it's all fiction and polygons in the end.
