If you're new, start with IV and IV:A. It's the most accessible for newer people without sacrificing too much of the difficulty. If you can get past the Naraku, then you'll most likely enjoy the series. After those, you can try Strange Journey, Soul Hackers or any other old turn system games.

Yes. Massacre, hands down, has the best final fights. The dialogue choices are hardcore as fuck and the dialogue in general is adrenaline pumping.

Only time it is slightly comparable is the first few hard mode fiends and that is it.
