I worked on the knowhow desk at curry's for six months and it was terrible, but the place was crooked as dog's hind leg and I learned some good tech support tricks. I also learned some interesting things about the general public, like the absolute worst kind of customer is middle aged white women. Africans and muzzies are surprisingly friendly in customer service situations.

Fucking horrible job though, I don't regret doing it but I'd never wish it on my worst enemy.

Recently a Cex opened up right opposite the shopping centre in Street near Clarks Village. The only problem is that it's giving unfair competition to Insane Games, who are a local and very nice business. The shopping centre in which Insane Games is located is basically dying ever since they got rid of the Tesco and cafe, and the Cex is in view when you come out of the back of Clarks Village, meaning all the normies will go to Cex instead.

I really hope Insane Games don't go. They have two other stores, one in Wells and one near Time Warp Arcade. I would hate to see the owners have to move or close for good.

Barely. We were supposed to troubleshoot using PC World's proprietary troubleshooter software and follow up with their proprietary version of mcafee. Both did fuck all. We just used a sequence of freeware virus removal programs that fixed every virus issue I ever encountered, until the manager caught on.
