So is this actually a fun fighting game?
Pirated it on Wii U, didn't find it fun at all
with friends for casual fun, yeah. the bigger roster will help a lot and i think it lends itself better on the swit h than wii u. if you got buddies to play and hang with, give it a go. it's easy to pick up and play even if you're not into fighting games
Yes, but only if you plan on actually gitting gud and playing it competitively, it has like zero single player content or for casual shits and giggles play
It's better than Street Fighter V.
I have 1400 hours in it and go to my locals and stuff.
I think it's a lot of fun. The roster is really balanced even at a high level of play, the gameplay rewards smart fundamentals and decision making, and while you still need good reaction times and timing to make punishes or tricky combos that have a tight window for making the inputs, none of the inputs themselves are super complicated.
As >>380779981 says though, it really doesn't have all that much going for it for casual play
