Chrono Trigger will last you about 10-16 hours, and if you're bored it has decent replay value, one of the first games with NG+.

If your laptop isn't a complete toaster, try to get some of the PS1 JRPGs along with Crash. But I'd say get most of the first-party SNES and GBA games, some of the Mega Drive games like Sonic (especially CD), Streets of Rage and Shining Force, and maybe a few MAME ROMs too.
