Give me your best mods.
I saw this D4D mod that supposedly puts DOOM 4 stuff in the game but i found out its pretty much unfinished and it also didnt have any maps of its own which made me think that if we combine "D4" gameplay with the original maps that are very tight corridors and low ceilings its not gonna end up well. So i guess fuck this for now unless some anon can suggest a solution.
Also which maps and engine should i get?I've already played vanilla and im not a big fan,so if you came here to say "play vanilla 1st faggot" its time to leave

Deus vult 1 and 2 are good epic SP mods.
If you want to add a fun/difficult spin to normal doom try hard doom. Makes monsters more interesting and challenging without turning it into a mess like brutal doom

Did you try D4T?
As for maps, Valiant is pretty fun. Some of the later levels in one or two of the Episodes have some conflict with spider demons, but its still enjoyable up to that point.
There's a starter pack on /vr/ general for you to fiddle around with. Also, make sure to use ZDL if you aren't already. Basically a launcher that you can set up and save your favorite combination of mods.
