Not really, at least it got something, also you gotta consider than there are ,most of the game blogger hive mind actively hate anything modern Sonic, Sega knows this, Sega don't care. Forces will sell 3 times as Mania but knowing Sega they will give their fans a followup to Mania anyway.

In the end, though, Forces is probably gonna make more money.

What about Minecraft and Overwatch? WofW? LofL? That's not always true anon, look at the tons of pretty 3d games that failed, like Crysis 3 and Ryse Son of Rome, those aren't bad games, they just didn't interest enough people.
Also I think Mania's main problem for me is the rehashed levels, I feel it needed to be an all new experience, I also have issue with Green Hill being in Forces as well, they need to break away from the old levels. I feel Mania will be half old and half new and to me that's a bad ratio.

Finally, one more thing to consider about Forces is that it's allowing character creation, something hardcore(crazy)Sonic fans have been wanting since probably Adventure 2, so I would say that Forces is the horse to bet on as far as sells and rightfully so, all Mania has got going for it right now is the nostalgia factor, that's it.
