Is it possible to meme this game into getting delayed?
I would gladly wait 6 more months or even 1 more year on top of the release date if it meant that they could polish some shit up and pad the roster.

That's because they outright stated multiple times that SFV isn't getting a re-release. They've said nothing like that about MvC, and it took less than a year for them to push out UMvC3, so it's no big stretch that they'd push MvC:I to market early to pull in players and then drop Infinity+1 within 6 months.
