I think there are only 5~6 worlds in this game

Also, does anybody else think they are showing too much of the game? They've detailed basically everything that happened in a Kingdom from its beginning to end. They've been showing also a lot of the moons and even the fucking bosses. IMO they should have focused only on New Donk City.

Nintendo is really fucking with the marketing of this game so far, the trailers were amazing yes but why the fuck show everything in the fucking Treehouse? Keep some things a secret for fucks sake, BotW's way of showing only the Great Plateau was great, don't know why they changed it with Odyssey.

I'm going to guess 9 or 10 total.

Are you retarded? I only watched the stream for 5 min every several hours and even I managed to catch them specifically say that they were barely showing a small part of each world and they weren't allowed to show more.

Plus this is still in development so they may be adding or enlarging some stuff or refining them. For all you know, they already have DLC planned for more worlds.

But I haven't watched any of the treehouse footage, only some minutes of New Donk City, but it doesn't change the fact that they are showing too much and that can kill the experience for the majority of people who can't control themselves and watches all the footages. They should show only the first world and that's it, like they did with Zelda.

Not a switch owner yet, but seriously gain some perspective guys. Think of each kingdom like the observatories/castle floors in 64/Galaxy and each place we have seen as paintings/galaxies. New Donk, Tostarena, Dino Island, Greenhouse, and Lake Volbono all are just likely the opening levels andnwe have seen nothing yet. We might know of the kingdoms, but surely 2-3 are missing, and just like how we got the nanes of each region of hyrule we have seen jack shit.

Nothing yet. It'll likely take longer than the Wii U since this one is using a different architecture compared to the GC/Wii/WiiU which all used the same one.

Those islands won't be full sized kingdoms calling it now.

There will only be 6 main worlds as seen on the world map. A final 7th world will open where you fight Bowser. That's my prediction. It's puts it on par with other Mario games.

The islands will be post game areas where the toughest challenges will be.

Anyway each of the 6 worlds has a day and night version that changes things up. Plus small secret platformer areas similar to Sunshine.

Battlefront II has 8.6 million views meanwhile Mario Odyssey has 7.5 million views.

If it's anything like the 3DS it's at least three years (probably longer) off of the earliest stuff.
And even when it's gotten to that first point, it'll be a massive pain in the ass to do, probably taking a good few hours and there'll be several points where it could brick the console.
Getting to the point where it's so ridiculously easy to hack is like five years away.
And around then it'll be about a year and a half until the next console comes out.

I used to spends thousands on games each year. Half them ended up being ok at best, a few were great, and the rest were garbage.

These days, I don't have all day to just sit in front of my tv and play like I used to so I'm not willing to spend tons of time and money on something I may or may not like only to get burned with shit like DLC, physical DLC, and online paywalls.

To be quite honest I get where he's coming from.
I desperately hope people support the games Nintendo puts out when they deserve it.
However as someone who's very poor myself I've been pirating every game I play but I'm still a moralfag in every way.

I absolutely can't not buy the game afterwards if I enjoyed it and if I get to do that on a Nintendo system,
I have the freedom of actually checking out as much of the game as I want until I feel comfortable with buying it,
and to be very honest with you, I feel like I end up buying more games if I get to pirate them first
because more likely then not the games I pirate are those that I feel are probably good games
but I just hesitate to make that first step when it#s immediately met with a paywall.

I never bought Tokyo Mirage Sessions,
I'm pretty sure playing that game for 10-15 hours would've probably convinced me to at least buy the game to put it on my shelf.

I can't say I can justify piracy because I know it's not good in any way.
But if I was a developer I'd let everyone pirate my game no matter how much it costs because I can relate to that.
