That's Sunrider. I played the 1st game, which is free by the way.

It had an insane single player campaign where you pilot mechas and kill space pirates in a turn-based strategy board game that somehow kicked my ass even on easy. Thing was impossible to beat and I lost patience, I programmed a motherfucking ren'py unpacker to get the nudes out of the game only to find out it's one single 1 night stand scene with your 2nd in command while you were still in academy

The story was about cute girls piloting space mechas. While the premise is literally made of awesome they totally failed when it comes to execution, the result was annoying game where I powered through the actual game parts just to finish the story which turned out to be mildly entertaining. The girls are all evangelion archetypes and holy shit the voice acting will get on your fucking nerves. IMA FIRIN MA LAZER up your ass bitch.
