The hideous new artsyle to begin with, boring levels, completely uninteresting missions and boss battles, even less interesting new characters, old characters written poorly, gameplay mechanics copy-pasted from Sly 3 somehow still feel poorly done despite literally being lifted wholesale, and frankly it was just shallow and boring. All potential was just not fully realized. It's really painfully obvious that wasn't made by Sucker Punch, and that's not what you want from a game that's supposed to be next official numbered sequel. A fucking fan-game probably would have felt more on point.
