The one that didn't drop out of the console market because it was at war with itself. Regardless of which company you prefer, one of these two is the clear winner as a business. That said, you have to give props to Sega for managing to keep Sonic not only relevant but also considerably popular even after years of disaster. Which is even more amazing considering that Playstation, despite its success, has failed to hold onto an iconic mascot for more than two generations at most. Even Xbox's Master Chief is fading into irrelevance.
