I've only played one Mistwalker game and that was Lost Odyssey and honestly it was just 'alright'.

Wasn't really a big fan of the cast outside of Jensen (or Jansan? Whatever his name was) and the little dream sequences that the novelist wrote were ten times better than the actual plot.

I don't really mind turn-based gameplay, I'm just saying it wasn't really a plus or a minus for me. I honestly do prefer standard turn-based stuff over a lot of the garbage we get (i.e. Ni no Kuni had some godawful combat)

Persona 5 had some of my favourite JRPG combat just because of how polished it was
