The One X is basically the same price as a mid- range gaming PC, but is arguably more powerful than most 500 bucks or under budget builds with instant access to much of the same library as PC and it will eventually have cross platform play with PC.

If you're someone just starting from scratch with your entertainment setup, while a 500 to 750 gaming PC and a PS4 is a worthwhile investment, considering the power of the X Box One X and the game access it will offer, a simple 350 dollar laptop and the X-Box One X I think is also a viable option if you have no interest in any of the PS4's exclusives. Throw either a Switch or Vita into any one of those combos and you'd be solid for the next few years
