Who else was insanely dissapointed? I dont know what I expected after they revealed the stunning and modern graphics. But the gameplay looks so fucking "modern" in that it soullesly follows modern design trends to the point that I dont even give a shit and just want to see how the web swinging feels in my hands. The other Spider-Man games like Web of Shadows may of been products of their time too, but they seemed a tiny bit more imaginative maybe because of the lower budgets. It just reeks of playing it safe and trying to be as cinematic as possible with the animations. And of course it wouldnt be a Spider-Man game without QTE segments. By this point that is so redundant for the character I assume its because they want the fast paced Spidey action but dont actually know how to do that awesome shit in actual game mechanics. Or know full well how to but dont have enough respect for the audience.
