I really hope this isn't the final HUD
Nintendo is really going for that modern, flat UIs on their Switch-games.

I don't like it at all. Never been a fan of the whole minimalism/modern thing. It certainly feels out of place in BotW
>>380719351
I like it in BotW because you can make a flat UI that fits the tone of the game, but you just can't in a Mario game.
Based Unreal engine amirite?

I actually like BotW so I'm not shitting on it. I think it'd look much better with a more old school UI though. Not really a fan of how the circular stamina meter laps around itself either

I think if the middle circle got thinner as you added rings to your stamina, it'd look a lot better.

What don't you like about it? Do you think it's too simple or too big?
I haven't watched much of the treehouse gameplay but does it fade away when you haven't collected a coin/taken damage in a while?

It doesn't bother me, like yeah it's nothing that great but it doesn't look ugly to me.

No it doesn't, the sound that repeats itself when you're at 1 HP fades away after a little bit though.
so hard shitendo

I like it. Very simplistic.

I think it looks fine. I'm kinda hoping you can remove the HUD like in BotW though.
I don't get why they felt the need to put a giant number inside the HP wheel.
The wheel sections are already enough to let me know i have 2 HP left, the number is completely redundant and unnecessary.
I mean, SM64 already had an HP wheel with no need of numbers.
