Every game since P3 has forced a bro character since Junpei was so memorable, unfortunately none have come to his level.

Altus has forgotten that people like Junpei because he was his own character. He didn't just exist to fellate you or act as pure comic belief. He had his own grudges, his own desires, his own love, and they all played a role in the story. By the end of the game he becomes a completely different person having grown from his (tragic) experiences. You can see this most clearly in The Answer where he ends up becoming the most level minded member and a secondary leader to the group.

Yousuke and Ryuji will be forgotten, but Junpei will always be the golden standard for the "bro" party member.
