I watch Achievement Hunter almost daily. I've been watching their Minecraft LPs since the very first one and I still feel compelled to watch the shit almost every week, but I can't explain why. I'm 29, which is older than 99% of their audience, I don't own any form of Xbox (or any console), and I've never been into Minecraft. I can only surmise that it's the surrogate friend theory.

To be honest I only really know of Rooster Teeth from Red vs Blue back in the day. I watched the fuck out of it.
It always seemed like one of those projects that a bunch of friends did with some shitty amateur quality that was kind of endearing at the time. Kind of like that feel the old Jackass show had.

I haven't had any real interest in looking in to anything else they've done.
I think they did rbwy or whatever, but I always thought it looked gay as fuck and the fans are annoying.
I don't know really what they do anymore.

RvB was funny until it fell prey to that annoying trend of letting the Important Storyline get in the way of the comedy. After that, it was like, why am I even watching this? There's a ton of serious sci-fi shows out there, why turn one of the few comedy shows into what they had a love of parodying?

Sold the fuck out hard and just went into full shill mode. There was a time where the only thing they shilled was Halo, which is understandable because Halo made them exist, but now it's anything.

Stopped paying attention to them back in 2008 or 2009 when they started trying to expand by hiring a bunch of new people and make RvB into some shitty drama rather than comedy. I don't regret that decision looking at what they've become. Totally bloated, phony, and cynical company. I only ever really liked Geoff anyway, and from what I've seen, it looks like he's completely miserable now. Probably because the company stopped being fun when it was no longer just a group of friends making funny Halo 1 and 2 videos for a laugh. It became a business instead. Sad.

Funhaus is better.

I only learned about them when the FH crew joined them, and I can't say I enjoy anything that doesn't involve those guys. As long as FH stays its own thing though, I don't care how lame the rest of the stuff this company produces ends up being.

Used to follow RvB when it first came out, then I stopped watching their stuff until a while ago. Funhaus and Achievement Hunter are still pretty decent depending on the game they're playing, and I don't regret being a sponsor/first member.
