Hey I like Tomodachi Life, actually wished it got a sequel instead.

But hey, Miitopia is certainly better than Miitomo. Now that shit is iredeemable

Looks good for at least 2 playthrough before getting bored of it.

I loved the trailers for it and they convinced me to buy it for all the cuhrazy shenanigans and all I got was a waiting simulator. Literally nothing ever happened in the game. /v/ threads were great though.

I guess when it comes to the beginning, it's rather boring because it's so limited, but once you unlock many stuff and add more residents, it's a lot more fun and you have a lot more control. But there were still limits, I see great potential in this game and that's why I want a sequel.

I played through the Miitopia demo. It's pretty fun, and has a nice gameplay loop. It sort of reminds me of Denpa Men in tone and presentation.

I had Abraham Lincoln as the village child, Evil Queen as the shopkeeper, and Bill Trinen was dating Harley Quinn. Pit was the town mayor.

I made No-Face the Dark Lord because it fit so well, and made my friends my allies. Great times. High potential for replayability.

Haven't seen this. Does this actually have gameplay? Tomodatchi life was a big middle finger since you couldn't actually do anything in it.

You pick a location, and your party meanders through while spouting random nonsense. Encounters are fairly basic, with you controlling only your starting Mii. Everyone else is AI controlled. Make it to a level's end and you can feed food to your allies to boost their stats, give them money so they can buy gear (although sometimes they come back with healing items or what-have-you), or play roulette for prizes or roshambo for money.

It's not in-depth by any means but it's a neat little twist on rpgs, and the game appears to be pretty long.

Judging from the footage at e3, I assume that you only control yourself during battles, it's a pretty basic attack items special commands. You can only observe your allies' actions.

When it came to the overworld, there's actually a world map. And you automatically walk in a linear path most of the time with the occasional choice to pick which direction to go. So navigation is really basic.

The demo is great, I had Isabelle as the mom of Bill Trinen which seems like the craziest stroke of luck. The mayor was also Miyamoto.

I made Hitler the bad guy and my hero is George Costanza. Fun game already.
