If you compare the initial reveal trailer from last year to the reveal trailer from he other Blade games you see a clear shift towards putting focus on the Anime babes instead of the world or mechanics, which is never a good sign for RPG series.

The most recent information makes the combat seem like a downgrade compared to the earlier titles by injecting unnecessary waiting at the start of every fight due to the new way arts charge up rather than just starting off cooldown.
Also the amount of your move set that you have access to at any given time has been reduced, although the average character has slightly more ground options than before (but fewer total options when considering nothing like Manado Arts/Skell arts), but you have to go through more rigmarole to access them.
