SCH's OP fairy just got all its healing potencies and buffs smacked hard with the nerf bat. They're still better off than WHM since they got consolation prizes but let's not pretend that AST is "good enough" to fulfill WHM and SCH's role to the point where it renders both obsolete thanks to its own unique abilities.

SCH will still be taken along for Chain Stratagem, Selene buff, and so the LB bar actually fills at least.

Do SCH mains ignore the fact that the tradeoff for their fairy nerfs are the fact their actual healing got better?

Even with the fairy nerfs, it's still GCD free, MP free, and ~25% stronger than Regen. And it's always casting, has a free AoE healing buff and AoE heal.
All of which can save a shitload of GCDs and transform them into damage.
Oh, and Stratagem exists, but yeah, SCH is totally dead because AST can meme shield. Give me a fucking break

4.0 gameplay is basically the level 60 gameplay, but with a "cast thunder out of your sword > spam holy for 12sec" burst phase and actually useful defensive stuff.

That's literally every dungeon, it's not just a 3.0 thing. Dungeons in XIV are complete ass and always have been. Which is why dropping to 1 and supplementing new types of content is a much better deal than 2 shitty dungeons every patch
