Uematsu was good at doing a lot with so little which is why he was pretty good in the SNES era. FF7 soundtrack is overrated. One Winged Angel isn't even that spectacular composition-wise. I mean even if you took music theory and did an analysis on it. FF6 music is actually his prime as far as technical prowess is concerned.
