Was Horizon Zero Dawn a commercial success?

Who cares. All I know is as soon as Zelda was released no one ever talked about the game again.
>>380686379
yes, sold 3 million copies or something, has DLC on the way

>no one ever talked about the game again
>horizon dlc was just literally revealed at the sony e3 conference
lol ok
>>380686787
>3 mil sold

>success

By this logic nearly every product ever is a failure.
Profit> Total Budget equals success
>>380686379
nope, had to make 7 mil to break even. also its never going to be always full price so its not always going to be $60 reason why its 7mil
>>380688689
>By this logic nearly every product ever is a failure.
>zelda attach rate is >100%
ok man lol
>>380686379
Horizon Zero Dawn is objectively a failure considering its budget and low attach rate. It has failed to meet sales projections and despite all the hype, nobody was talking about it after a week.
All of these black afro hair female games will bomb too. This industry needs to stop with the identity politics and creepy looking "realistic character models.
Sony fans jealous of Zelda's success shilled so hard for this game as if it belonged in the same conversation or was a similar game on even footing. Not that it would surprise me if this was Sony's Zelda. Sony's F-Zero (Wipeout), Mario Kart (CTR), Mario (Crash), and SSB (the PlayStation fitting game whose long name I don't remember accept it had al stars in it) are all inferior and different compared with the games they are ripping off. But Sony fans, who largely only game on Sony consoles, don't have a choice so they pretend these are the same or better and shill the fuck out of them.

It was more successful than Breath of the Wild, not that that's saying much.

If only the protagonist wasn't ugly as sin.
