The only bad things in this is that shadowskin and scourge are gone. Unleash getting its potency nerfed is the most irrelevant thing in the world, and siphonstrike, while a fucking odd change, wasn't exactly used in grit very often so the hp restore rarely triggered.

Losing shadowskins a pretty big deal, although Black Night will make up for it to an extent. I really don't see what all the crying is about.

Let's talk RDM. Just how garbage will they be in comparison to BLM/SMN?

People like to meme about WAR being cucked because they've been on top for 4 straight years. The reality is they still have amazing personal mitigation and DPS. They will probably still be a lock for the OT role.

I mean, there's still reason to be worried. While Samurai isn't strictly better at on paper DPS, they have a great amount of control over when their DPS happens, they can align burst periods extremely well with the party due to Hagakure and a wide window of generating Kenki without having to use it, unlike Monks' potency output being pretty much a straight line.

Monk also has to worry about dropping GL3 for various idiot reasons, as well as having less flexibility over controlling your stance due to losing Fracture/Touch of Death, and RoF just presumably feeling kind of shitty. Still, TP efficiency got better in many ways, Monk is still probably the king of persistent, steady damage.

Quite happy. They fixed the crazy kneejerk 300% shields for noct and also made Earthly star more fair at 720 cure potency rather than fucking 900. Everything else either stayed the same as media tour info or was slightly improved. Combust II is instant cast now and Malefic III got 10 extra potency. I am quite happy with where astro is at right now. I hope that SCH is as good as it looks as well, I used to be a SCH main and still feel it is the patrician healer.

Monk I hate on feel alone, Riddle of Fire takes our unique speed and shits on it as a replacement for Blood for Blood that nobody asked for. Riddle of Earth should just be a long cooldown 'refresh GL' move, it's fucking stupid to make you get hit, it won't even work on a lot of old content, which makes me assume it probably won't work on much future content. Tornado Kick is still useless, losing DOTs makes us less flexible (another fairly central feel to the class), and Forbidden Chakra is probably my least favorite move from HW, so being able to use a weaker version of it more often doesn't really appeal that much. Also no new attacks. That being said, the changes aren't negative for us DPS wise, even if at first glance they'd look that way, and the core of the class is still fun, so I will stick with it.
Paladin looks like everything I've ever wanted. 10/10 changes if I wasn't so married to Monk I would say I officially main it.

DRK got QoL changes but is worse overall from nerfs nobody asked for with a kit that's still mismatched. Without Alex to pad their one gimmick, DRK is dead.

Adlo MP cost, which was already fucking high got even more high.
Bane nerf and lose of Miasma2/Blizzard/Bio and Shadow flare nerf killed our AOE DPS incredibly, we are basically worthless in dungeon run now.
Our new toys also got nerfed compared to previous build with Chain stratagem only giving 15% instead of 20% and Exco having a timer.
And they even nerfed our fairies heal.
Shit sucks.

Is Dark Passenger useless single target encounters now? It's probably the same MP as a Dark Arts, and it's probably better to save that MP on a +140 potency SE/SS than use it on a 100 potency move.
