What are some other examples of games that release and quickly get forgotten? With homefront 2 it feels like it got mediocre reviews and was quickly forgotten despite being done by Crytek UK/ex Free Radical employees

The game was rushed as fuck, but the dlcs are fun it looked like they actually put effort into it.

Honestly with Homefront it feels like the world itself is interesting but it isnt until the DLC that it feels like it hits its stride in terms of personality. The poor dev cycle didnt help it and it doesnt help that the fact that it wanted to be "an open world Half Life 2" hurt it more than anything.
