Would you play an Animal Crossing MMO?

How would this work without the game being completely changed/butchered?

Griefing would be more rampant than usual if you could have anyone come to your town and more annoying to fix. If you remove random people coming to your town then you just have the same system we have now.

Yeah, I think you should be able to completely design your avatar. Choose between humans and animals, choose facial features, choose to have the gcn hats (or make them accessories) etc.

Big shared village servers
Bell economy, players can open shops
Normal life things with other players
Things to prevent griefing
Just AC but with other people

Seems like it'd be fun for a bit but would get boring quickly, unless you introduce a fuckton of social things to keep people coming back. (Events and such, not like social media integration. That'd be awful.)

Part of that could be solved via land ownership, rather than owning a house alone.
There could also be public/protected areas which have specific rules on what can be done there.
Just a couple steps toward solving it. It'd require more work than just that.
