Why do people hate Discord? It's better if not miles ahead of Skype.

I use a blue yeti by the way and I hate it, USB mics are the worst.

People hate discord because if you follow the money far enough up it's owned by tencent who are awful and chinese. The other reason is that basically every discord server ever linked on 4chan is an absolute cesspit and it spills over to ruin actual boards.

As a service it's really, really good compared to everything we've had before.
