I really loved the effect where you can see her face reflected in the visor. I don't know why no other game has done that since, especially games like the new Doom where it would fit perfectly.

I played the first game recently and I have to say that Metroid prime has pretty shit combat to be honest. It's not engaging at all when you just lock-on to enemies all the time and require literally ZERO skill to play the game.

Locking on doesn't magically make you immune to enemy attacks, especially when there's many. Without lock on this game would be a nightmare. Also don't play on Normal, especially in Trilogy, it's babby mode and almost impossible to die.

Same with me. Me and my coworker were watching on his phone muted. It was exactly what I wanted and the exact opposite of what I expected. I jokingly said "oh, it's Metroid" when the space dust showed up, then I was in disbelief when it formed into the S, then in complete shock when the 4 showed up. No future E3 will compare to this in my book.
