Lol it looks more like Darksiders 2 + Uncharted. Which Darksiders 2 was great, don't get me wrong but they're hardly being revolutionary. And you want a bonding story in your God of War? It's so refreshing to see that yesterday's juvenile games about gore and machoism and nudity have grown up.

God of War (PS4) is the first God of War game I will be picking up due to how focused the demo looked. No longer are you mashing X for combos and watching Kratos rip off the head of a naked Gorgon or Siren. All that icky stuff is in the past, much like Greek myths. Now, we have an older, respectable Kratos. A father, his life is now about teaching this boy, and the game harkened a bit to perhaps the greatest game of all time; The Last of Us, and could you really blame Santa Monica for wanting a focused, narrative-driven game? Sony does those so well these days.

All I know is, for once, I care about Kratos, and I'm looking forward to this game.
