Why aren't you replaying the best Pokemon game?

It's my favourite one, and I don't like that they're rereleasing gold and silver on 3DS but not Crystal.

Its gud but still not that gud as people think. Kanto region is pretty barebones, the battle tower is a bunch of AI cheesing. Emerald has a full actual "post-game" and gen 4 introduced the split that made battling better. I guess its good that you can catch both legend birds in this but afterwards gamefreak kept fucking up legends in the games.

Because I don't know where my old DS or GBA are.

I could never get into Crystal, maybe it's the focus on Suicune, but I just seem to prefer Gold for some reason. I still haven't played the remakes.

I never played Plat but I agree with your other choices. Shame about Oras and Sun/Moon the story was perfectly fine. The post game was just ass and then Sun and Moon got rid of Oras' perfect competitive training system.
