That was an insane high. better than any drug i had ever done. Thing is, it was wholly necessary for me to even beat the game. (full sombrero run, white armor is for pussies).
Everything between jetstream sam and the credit roll is a blur. All I know is for at least a few hours i was ascended.

I havent played it since then. Every time i try i can never get in the right mindset.

This isn't true. The strongest zone you can still be aware of. You know you are in the zone, firing on all cyclinders, etc. But the idea you are in it cannot even distract you from how powerful it is. It will happen to me, I'll knowledge it, feel some faint "euphoria" and then continue to get lost in the zone. You don't think about it, you just kind of recognize the state of your brain and go "holy fuck" before getting back into it.

I feel like every time I'm in the zone I'm too calm and focused to feel energetic or powerful enough that could be summed up with a pic or theme. It's usually just calmly playing to the best of my ability. The last time I distinctly remember a specific encounter into the Zone was years ago. I was playing Ys: Oath in Felghana at the Chester 2 boss fight and I found my reactions muscle memory growing faster while I was in the flow. It took a while and some frustration but I found the encounter enjoyable and was sad that I could not boss rush the fight to fight Chester again unless I replayed.

Best moment I had was in Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.

Joined a server with only two other guys on it, and had to fight them both off simultaneously.

What commenced was me spending literally 30 minutes on a hill fending them off wave after wave after wave simultaneously without dying. I was a fucking machine.

To be fair, they weren't very good. But defeating the same two guys at the same time over and over and over again until they get to the point where they start backing away if you make sudden moves and try surrounding you and shit, it was a total fucking high.
