Noctis IV was developed by an italian dude and it's literally the GOAT spacesim of old. It's a shame so few people here have played it, because it really was something. Paved the way for games like Kerbal Space Program.
I used to sit up in the middle of the night, exploring the pixelated galaxy with a cup of coffee. There was no music or sound and most of the planets had absolutely nothing on them, but every now and then you'd find some neat visuals to take pictures of. It invoked a really special mood that I haven't felt in a game since.
It also was abandoned, so we never got Noctis V.

Yes, the performance is all fixed. Runs silky smooth on my rig.

I don't know about "new" content but I just like the way it's unapologetically just a modern updated Carma 1. Got rid of the worst maps and added decent new ones. Old returning ones are all updated and expanded in fantastic ways. No Fear Factory soundtrack though. But you can open the game files with winrar and add your own music tracks.
