I got to the final portion of Skyrim on 360. Lvl 40, Completed most, if not all the side quests, then As I flew off with the dragon to the last section of the game I realised how underpowered I was. I dropped it and soon after created another char on PC. Now the thought of all the dungeon running is not conducive to a good amount of hours lost. Wat do? Begin again and grind more essential perks or just go back and power my previous char??

Delete all of your previous saves. And then start over.
Become the Phoenix. RISE AGAIN.
A level 40 character shouldn't feel underpowered at all man. Blacksmith or enchant your gear as good as it can be. I had daedric weapons doing 150 damage per hit on one character

I spent hours and hours getting 100 smithing. I could go back and try to up my Enchanting a lot higher. That would make the most sense. Thanks anon. Maybe I will do this <3

Hey, Todd Howard here, I recommend you purchase a copy of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition. Not only can you make a new character, you can re-live the breathtaking world of Skyrim with new enhanced graphics. If you ask me, it's a no-brainer!

Make a bunch of enchanted rings, gloves, amulets, clothing etc all with the blacksmithing enchantment. It increases damage and armor like 100% more combined with 100 blacksmithing.
