I actually really enjoyed the level. I was clenching my ass cheeks throughout the maze, paranoid about archviles from every direction. Absolute best music too.

I always wondered how playtesters are genuinely that stupid. Then I remembered many of them are only doing that shitty job because they're told it'll break them into the games industry and they actually believed it.
As much hate as Early Access games get for being slow in development, they at least get feedback from real players.

Both maps are shit. Needlessly mazelike elements strain suspension of disbelief and serve only to pad out the level. DX basically perfected level design, perfectly blending verisimilitude and intricacy.
