I bought the 1.5 Remix and couldn't even finish it. Got to play with a friend who'd never played the original.

Did they change something about the combat in Final Mix or 1.5, or did I just get older? Felt like the attacks didn't close gaps like they did in the original and it was really hard to get in range, but maybe it was always bad.
