This is the true vision he had for BGE, the 2003 game was just a concession he had to settle for. This is his passion project. The first game was a lighthearted adventure and very Pixaresque. The new trailer makes it seem like they are making a mature game for mature gamers, all the cursing was jarring as hell. The monkey was literally a thief, the "bad guy" pig was keeping his side of the bargain even if he is some kind of crime boss he did nothing wrong as far as we can tell from the trailer. Also In his escape the monkey caused a lot of destruction possibly endangering innocent bystanders, Jades game was nothing like that.

Warrior within was fine if you actually played it. it had the same setting just darker, and halfway through the music switches back to the more eastern style we had with the first game. if anything WW saved prince of persia because of how they improved the gameplay.

It's been a while since I've played the first one, but in spite of being a group of freedom fighters, aren't Jade and her crew fairly upstanding citizens? Most of the game she just does photography gigs, and she only breaks and enters if there's reason to believe they're keeping orphans or are committing other crimes.
Within a few minutes, the space niggers commit fraud, theft, vandalism, obstruction of justice, cop killing, destruction of government property and more.
