The Neo game that came out later was so much fucking worse. Enter the Matrix had a nice variety of levels, two playable characters and slightly different playthroughs with them, the martial arts translated very well into the PC controls and it was a lot of fun (though I agree it was a nightmare with a controller). I didn't experience any bugs on either PC or PS2, and didn't notice anything that would imply it's unfinished. I think it's a great game and it still holds up. It's worth a pirating at least.

Play on non-scrub difficulties. Though no one can blame your first impressions, the difficulty naming in PD2 is horrible (probably as to not make scrubs feel bad about themselves) and everything below Overkill is pretty much aimed at the mentally impaired. Overkill difficulty is still not too hard and can be enjoyed with pubs whereas the next levels make good gear, skill setup, knowledge of maps and communication mandatory.

Stealth heists in general pretty much require voice chat because even one person's fuck up can ruin the entire mission.

I fucking love that movie. I've seen it at least five times. It's such a simple plot with pristine execution, just like John Wick.

Splinter Cell Conviction had that mark and execute thing which combined with the protag using CAR makes for some John Wick esque shenanigans.
Payday 2 also gives a serious JW vibe, even before they started shilling for John Wick with the DLCs you could honestly see it taking place in the same or a similar setting. That whole idea of the criminal network, the edgy tacticool music, it all comes together to give this really cool feeling.
