This notion it's a console is laughable. It's a powerful handheld with TV output. It can't compete with Xbox or ps4 BUT the fact it can get slightly downgraded ports of modern games is impressive as fuck.

Seriously, the 3DS has been out since 2011 and is still very much relevant in the gaming space The fact it's getting quality games like Fire Emblem Echoes, new Pokemon sequels, a 2D Metroid remaster, and T H R E E 10/10 Atlus games so late in its life is a testament that the 3DS is going to keep going strong for as long as it possibly can. The single player was amazing and full of twists and standout missions, the mutliplayer was good and had active online on the 3DS for like half a year, the weapon customization is a deep as shit mechanic, the bosses were incredible, the writing was funny, Hades is the best Nintendo villain, and I got like 50 hours out of it.
It's a 10/10.
