I tried to like it. I really wanted to like it.
The porcelain doll look didn't compare favorably vs Tales of Vesperia, the story was simultaneously overlong and didn't progress at all, the character interactions were really heavy on shlocky light novel derivative tropes, and I can't even remember what the gameplay was like.
Every time I remember something good about SO4 it was actually a part of Shadow Hearts: From the New World and I mixed them up in my head.

Also there isn't anywhere near enough porn of Meracle
