Yes. I enjoyed it. It has it's fair share of problems though, like the ungodly stealth missions. Challenges were the most fun I had in the game again and I liked how side quests basically tried all to have their own gimmick, even if some were annoying like the one with the dog. Also fuck that jupiter introduction dungeon.

I liked it, except for the stealth missions. Although after I finished the main quest, I just had no drive left to finish the side quests, the ones I played just aren't interesting to me.

What are some good/fun side quests in GR2?

Yeah, amazing really. It wasn't without its flaws at all, but the mechanics and the different modes and challenges made for some of the most fun I've ever had in a game. I spent hours just flying around gathering bits solely because of how fucking fun it was, even though I didn't actually need any of it. Combat still wasn't amazing, but a big improvement on the original, if only because shooting enemies with stuff caught with Stasis Field is less annoying than spamming Gravity Kick over and over. I do wish the game ran at 60fps and had less popins, but that's just part for the console experience I guess, especially when making a game as huge as this.

Anyway, takes the cake for GOTY by far for me. There are plenty of titles that have been great, but none of them were as fun to play as GR2.

Ok thats it, I am buying it right now.
I was somewhat reluctant but fuck I wanted vita when it came out for the first one and never got it so i am gonna at least play this one.

Every single racing side mission in GR2 was fun in my opinion. The Sliding Race in Pleajune is my personal favorite.

Fucking ruined by forced stealth and missions that take away or don't allow you to use your powers.

You should get the Remastered version of the first game first on PS4. GR2 first seems like it doesn't connect too much with it, but the entire second half will seem alien if you haven't played it.

Yeah, it has it flaws but I really like it.

Its pretty much a polished turd. They didnt improve the combat in anyway and the missions are still a pain. Kat is cute so thats all the matters. People who like this are worse than SKfags because at least they admit that they only play for tits.

As someone who thought the first game was a slog and thought the GR2 demo was pretty meh, does it get any better? I am pretty eh about picking up the second one ATM unless it is dirt cheap.

Yes they did. It's still not good, but the first game just had atrocious combat. You might as well just angle your camera around to the opponent and click kick over and over without any thought, because the difficulty was non-existant outside of the very last Green Nevi. In GR2, at least there's some more enemy variety which keeps that from being the case, even if those small fuckers makes the framerate drop to shit whenever they're on screen.

Picked up the game for Kat, stuck around because of the gameplay being so fun. There are sections of the game that are unfun, but that doesn't take away from the overworld and challenges being so fun to explore and stuff.

I don't play SJW games but I'll assume that it wasn't good

Stealth missions were terrible and common. Camera was wonky. Still a decent game due to the gravity mechanics.
