Even if you haven't played any of the Demonbane games, how the fuck can you read anything about Demonbane and think he is based on logic? His entire thing is it doesn't fucking matter how omnipotent something is, he is infinitely more powerful.
Nothing in TTGL comes even remotely close to the kind of enemies Demonbane destroys by just casually drifting through countless dimensions simultaneously while countless versions of Kurou and Al Azif have loving sex in the missionary position in their lovenest of a cockpit.

something about characters who have mastered an ability so well that it looks effortless is always fun
a great one is Elijah Snow from the comic Planetary, he is introduced as having "ice powers", but when they meet him, it turns out that he has spent so long mastering his powers that he realized his power has more to do with super-cooling air around him rather than just "creating ice"
his common utilisation of this power isn't firing icicles at people or anything like that, he prefers sharply freezing the water in your brain without doing any flashy motions, so that before you realize he has done something, you are paralyzed
