I honestly don't know what could they add. SSB4 already has practically every character that I ever wanted that was possible to have. The gameplay can't change much in a new game. Maybe it would be good if the Switch didn't have a Smash Bros game.

Honestly, if Sakurai leaves I want them to completely rehaul the entire roster to make them more game accurate.
SSB4's newcomers were great because they felt new and unique but then you have Mario who uses outdated Fluud and Cape, as well as old as fuck voiceclips for a majority of the cast.
I want Bowser ank DK to have their actual voices God damn it.
Smash 4 was supposed to have characters be closer to how they are in their respective franchises but it's only used for new characters.

That's why the should also gut the roster. No Ice Climbers, No Little Mac, etc. Anything that doesn't have a game coming out, or isn't incredibly iconic needs to go. Any everyone needs their newest designs. That includes BOTW Link and Zelda.

Isn't it too early for that? How long do we usually wait for Smash?

What else could they add for this game? The game has 84 freaking stages, more than 400 musics and 58 characters all of them with widely varying moves.

It's insane how much content this game has. The only thing I can imagine them doing is making a Deluxe edition with all the Wii U and 3DS stages, maybe Ice Climbers and Inkling and some other character and add a few competitive-centric online options.

(And please fucking fix the replay upload feature to not have time limits!)

I can't think of a single person to represent the franchise as a fight though. Each little dance is a complete seperate concept and character, there really isn't a character to tie everything together.

At least with out there franchises that brought in fighters for Smash like Wii Fit and Duck Hunt, there was a character that was a central piece like the Wii Fit Trainer and the Dog

Smash doesn't have a playable Smash-exclusive character.

Fighting Polygon could be the Random Option character. The character chosen wouldn't be revealed until the match starts. Of course, your idea is good too, I can't see why both characters couldn't be implemented.
