I played them while expecting nothing and just was pleasently surprised. The dialogue during the scenes also make it much better.

Plus it has options for everyone. While I prefer the vanilla stuff like the huge sissy I am (doing sparring sessions with your demon wife while taking over her just to realize she just was waiting for you to pin her down all along) there are several different routes you can take.
