I just want them to take more ques from Pikmin 2, I feel like they could get a balance in it somewhere but I don't know how exactly, at the very least they could bring Purples & Whites back into the Story Mode. Also obviously add a Piklopedia again, we'll probably get it since Hey! Pikmin is getting a treasure hoard but it still needs to be said. Whatever they do though, I'll be hyped, Pikmin is too great to even worry about to me.

Pikmin 3 had a slow development cycle with staff too busy focusing on other projects & that also involved porting it to the Wii U. It seems like Pikmin 4 is going to do similar shit here, although I'm pretty sure we'll be getting it sooner than 9 years.

Even if it was a long way until pikmin3, you have to admit that the game delivered. It was a very fun game and beautiful even for today standards. Maybe the game felt less challenging and perfect as Pikmin 2, but it's a great entry in the series.

I can't wait to see what Pikmin 4 has in store.

what kinds of new pikmin do you guys think we might be seeing? Whatever we get, I hope they toss aside the previous types, like 3 did to the purples and whites

I have no idea what they could really do at this point, it feels like they got the essentials now. If the next game has no new ones I would be totally fine with it, have too many types of Pikmin could become overwhelming or at least it'd be hard to incorporate them into the main game.

It was great, my main criticism was that there weren't very many consequences. By the end of the game I had enough fruit juice to play the entire game over again. But getting around required a lot more work and strategy compared to the previous games.
