Combat with great controls but piss easy mobs until you break the soft cap. Getting there is just a boring grind. I barely made it to 45 on my Sorc before I realized the part I wanted to focus on was just a button mashing grindfest.

The base is fine but the game never does anything with it. Enemies never got more complicated than dodging their attacks and hitting them.

archeage was fucking shit, the only good thing it has is the main thing that bdo doesn't have. and that's trade actually being risky if you wanna go to hostile territory. The amount of classes was great, too bad there's only like 2-3 that are meta and everything else is useless

Endgame is node war PvP basically Guild vs Guild. The game is very focused on life skills which is fishing/hunting/trading/gathering/processing etc and connecting trade routes and setting up a worker/trade empire, getting informed where raw resources are located so you can maximize your profit while minimizing your loss of contribution points

Also game is very AFK friendly because there are autopaths and absolutely NO fast travel whatsoever. So you can make money overnight by fishing or while working.

You can skip all of the above though, and just mindlessly grind like a drone to get money.
