It's such a fucking weird transition for a game that tried to get deep about what it means to be alive and how machines can be alive too at the end of X1.

Design wise, everything above the waist is fine. His whole bottom half looks retarded as fuck. That body suit thing he's wearing looks dumb and he looks really young, but that might be the art style.
Voice wise I'm glad they kept with the Bong theme for him, although it sounds weak and a bit awkward. I hope he gets better, but I'm not expecting Shulk levels of emotion.

I don't mind him looking younger than Shulk. A coming of age adventure epic is a perfectly legitimate story to tell. Costume would look a lot better if he wasn't parading his bulge all over the place.

What little I heard of him in the trailer seemed alright. I actually kinda like some of the smaller details on him too, like the grappling hook and diving helmet, just wish he didn't have the weird parachute pants or tubetop vest (if it was even just a regular-length vest, it'd be fine), which I'm going to change as soon as I can by swapping his equipment.

The girls breasts are too big, expect articles critcizing it, then they will be shrunk for western release.

Good story, but a bad game overall. The battle system is boring, the dungeons suck, and the second disc is so poorly presented it hurts. The dev team went way over their heads with that project, even if they had lots of good ideas under the hood.
