Genuinely whose Idea was this? No wonder it was bastardized. Mickey Mouse, at this point, is a brand first and foremost and the idea that you could do something like this with it and still successfully shill that Mickey Mouse Clubhouse brain-numbing slop to kids' parents is beyond ridiculous from a business standpoint.

Does anyone know if the artbook for this is good? I really liked the concept art before and I wouldn't mind reading about the thought process. It'd be more interesting than the game at least for me.

That desing was as edgy as it could be, but there were other things that were tame, the concept of old Disney going against New Disney was great, but yeah, Mickey Mouse is untouchable, too bad we'll never see anything like it.

I wish Epic Mickey could've ended up exactly how Warren Specter wanted it. What with all the creepy horror shit the game was suppose to contain.
Then Disney had to get all pissy and sanitize the fuck out of it because they can't have their brands be seen in a bad light.

I couldn't even bother to finish it, the "morality" system was goddamn awful, "If you paint everything you are good, if you erase you are bad", that was lazy and stupid, they could have easily added at least another layer but no, they went with the easy route. The whole game is bad, blaming the Disney suits for fucking up the art style is unfair, the gameplay was crap, the story was forgettable, the only good thing was the Mickey model.
